About Derek

Friendly, open minded, amicable tutoring facilated by a wealth of knowledge of topics on hand. Each topic covered is explored through diverse perspectives to each the greatest of any topic discussed.

My students are my pride joy. Students are what justifies my teaching, living to share knowledge and infornation about the infinite topics a teacher and student can discuss.

My friends and family thought I would make an excellent history professor. I thought about the times I talked about my favorite subjects and learned I enjoyed sharing what I've learned over the years. I wanted to share more of what I've learned and even learn the perspectives of my students and others on the topics we discuss

About the lesson

My tutoring process begins with a basic introduction between student and teacher. The next step is to learn the students needs and the topics they're studying. Afterwards, the tutors investigates the students proficiency with the subject and the students goals they wish to acquire with the tutor. Once goals and background information is clarified the tutor will begin discussion, dialogue, and tutoring of the student to accomplish goals.

Hire a tutor which is passionate in their specialization. A tutor that loves their subject, and loves the people their share their knowledge with.
