I have years of tutoring experience in elementary math and reading.
I am currently serving my 6th year in the BE A Reader mentoring program. We tutor in reading and building comprehension.comprehension.

First day is a get to know you day. I start by introducing myself and then asking the child about their favorite shows or apps. We then segway into talking about their favorite school subjects. Day two starts with teaching the student how their favorite subject relates to the subject they are having trouble with. We then begin studying the subject.
