Christine has an amazing ability to see where the rider is, where the horse is in their training and developed a plan to reach their individual goals. From beginning to advanced her teaching approach is friendly while also helping you push through tougher parts of learning. Keeping it positive and safe at all times. I have been riding with Christine for 10 years. I have watched her develop several horses through the levels, up to Grand Prix and positioning students to move up as their skills developed. Christine is an excellent teacher. She is straight forward about her expectations and provides clear explanations / instructions during lessons. I learned an incredible amount in just a few months with Christine and my riding improved greatly. She also encourages her students to continue their education through reading, clinics (some great ones are held at her farm!) and constantly works to improve her knowledge in the same way which I respect immensely. Christine has an incredible eye for the balance of the rider. Other trainers may identify a communication error between the student and their mount, and tell you a movement to fix it, but they will not explain to you why. Christine will break her instructions and observations down for everyone from introductory to experienced riders such that you understand what to do differently, why it helps the horse perform the correct response, and how it helps you as the rider to better your communication and body control. No question is a dumb question, and her care for her students does not start and end in the saddle but extends to all portions of life tied with horses. Extremely knowledgeable and flexible, I recommend her to anyone looking to better their riding and equine partnership.

Christine is one of the best instructors that I have worked with throughout my horseback riding career. She is always pushing you to be a better rider each and every day.
