About Leia
I teach everything from gymkhana to beginning jumping, clipping, leg care, worming, hoof care, vaccinations, local plant identification and which horses can eat...the list goes on. I specialize in beginners and in teaching confidence, balance and strength. I expect my riders to work hard and ask questions! You will learn large range of things from care and cleaning to understanding the way horses think and process, to riding and even competing! Mounted archery, and other medieval weapons handling sessions are offered as well (but first you need to know how to ride!) I have been riding for 39 years and compeating for 34. I love what i do, it is my heart and soul.

The instructor is very passionate and pushes her students to succeed. She is encouraging during your failures and celebrates with you during successes. She teaches you how to take care of the horses, build a relationship with your horse, and take care of your horse. She teaches you to be confident and strong both in respect to horseback riding as well as in life in general.
