About Kim
Lessons at Tally Ho Farm are offered by five highly qualified riding instructors. Each instructor is certified by the American Riding Instructors Association and continues learning with lessons and clinics. All instructors at the farm are of adult age with careful attention to detail and safety. The farm has over 30 horses ranging from beginner to the advanced/competition level. Leases of lesson horses are available for showing and for monthly practice.
Three types of lessons are available to suit all rider's needs. Riders can choose to participate in hour private lessons, 1/2 hour private lessons or hour group lessons. Groups are arranged by age and level of student. Groups range from 4-6 students and are an excellent way for students to meet other riders and learn from each other. Visit the farm and watch lessons to see if it is what you are looking for. Also, ask questions about the instructors experience and certifications.
i have many students who have qualified and competed at the National level. I also have had many students to continue riding on college teams.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
It is important that the personalities of the student and teach match. She needs to understand your goals and concerns and be willing to work with you to achieve your goals.

My daughter has taken lessons from Kim for 2 1/2 years. The growth in her riding abilities, knowledge and understanding of horses as well as her overall confidence have been amazing and so much fun to watch develop. Kim challenges her and clearly takes great pride in her students' successes. Tally Ho Farm is a place where horse lovers can continue to learn and share their passion for these amazing and beautiful creatures.
Tally Ho Farm is a fantastic riding facility with a top notch English riding program. Kim Cox is honest, dependable and extremely knowledgeable about horses. She focuses on teaching students from the ground up. Kim not only teaches riding lessons, but also focuses on horsemanship and how to care for the horse. Her program is family friendly and has something for every stage of rider from beginners to advanced students.
I am a current boarder at Tally Ho and I have been extremely pleased with the lesson and training program as well as the care of my horse. I would recommend this program for anyone looking for a hunter/jumper program!!Kim has been my instructor for 10 years. I am ecstatic at the improvement she has drawn out. I am challenged every lesson to unlock the heart and skill of my horse. I'm challenged to be patient to reach the best potential for that ride. When I compete in a show I feel prepared for whatever the course is!
