About Makito

I only teach what you want to learn.

manga, anime, drama series, academics,

from japanese to english to vice versa.

we bring in the material together but you will learn what you want to learn.

when I was in middle school I teached my friends how to say 420 yolo in japanese. then they asked me for other translations such as in anime ad other nonesense. then I offered people other translations and sometimes mediated for international students from japan and to Japan to translate both english to japanese and to japanese to english. All of it is truly fun for me.

I have 12 years of education at Japanese institute of Sawtelle.

I have 2 years of tutoring experiences

About the lesson

I first ask what they want to learn using japanese. e.g. understanding certain shows, wanting to visit japan, etc.

then I'd get them to bring something that they like or something that inspired and create a learning processes with it.
from there I can refer to a textbook or a the vocabularies on the subject.

mostly people who already know a little bit of japanese writing, speaking, and reading to elementary level 5 and beyond.

If you have any inspired materials, bring them.

If you have any homework, if it's with Japanese I can help you. Other homework that is not the subject of Japanese language or culture will be spoken in Japanese.

if you want a casual conversation I can offer that too.

if you are looking for an intensive lesson on Japanese language I am not your tutor. I will however do my best to support you.
