About Gabrielle

My name is Gabby and I tutor Korean!

When I first started learning Korean I remember how hard it was for me because I had no clue where to start and I felt stumped. As a non-native speaker and non-Korean person, I can help give you a good insight on overcoming many obstacles that come with language learning as I’ve gone through those obstacles as well! After learning I’ve come up with a way to effectively teach this language and get people past that beginner stage!

I also believe language learning should not make you break the bank! For a while I tutored for free because I genuinely wanted to share my knowledge and help people because it makes me so happy to see people learn this language! But as I do this for money I don’t want people spending a fortune on this knowledge!

I focus on teaching absolute beginners to reaching an upper beginners/lower intermediate level!

I have two certifications in Korean language and also was the president for my Korean class for two years! I’ve tutored many people from friends to family at fair rates! I’ve been tutoring since late 2017! I hope you chose me to be your language tutor!

I started off by tutoring my family member late 2017 then it branches off to friends and then people in my community!

About the lesson

I give them a pre-test to see how far into the language they are and then I assign lessons accordingly!

Absolute beginners, teens, and young adults!

Choose a teacher who you think will cater to your needs to best! Do they focus on writing? speaking? listening! Dont be scared to try a few tutors out!

I tutored my cousin and we were watching a K-Drama and she said “wait Gabby, I understood that! Oh my gosh!” it made me so happy and just motivated me to tutor people more!
