About Oliver
I am a 20th Generation Plum-blossom Fist, 6th Generation Zen Gate, first apprentice of 张志勇. I traveled to China to learn not only movement, but meaning, to find the secrets and methods of the masters.
I became apprenticed to a master, undertook a warrior's pilgrimage, and have returned. I want my students understand Kunf Fu isn't just an art of fighting, but the art of living.
My greatest pleasure in teaching is the look of wonder that comes over peoples faces when they realize there truely is another way to go. Weither it be from the exolaination of a movement, a proverb or philosophy sections of classes.

Kung Fu and Tai Chi are very counter intuitive to many students, even from other martial arts. I build from the ground up including conditioning, forms, philosophy and meditation. Each student progresses at their won rate, and their training adjusts accordingly.
