Offering clients one-on-one coaching and training to help individuals reach their personal or professional goals. You can learn powerful, scientifically proven techniques such as meditation and self-hypnosis to gain control over beliefs, feelings or behaviors that up until now have stood in the way of reaching the goals you have desired in your life. Wherever you are starting, you can become more empowered and equipped to gain improvements in your life immediately, and each training or treatment strategy is customized for each client's needs and goals. I was born with a high degree of empathy for people and I enjoy them very much. From a young age, I have enjoyed being helpful and supportive to others. Being a compulsive learner and self-guided student, I have been especially satisfied by how the extra learning I do about things becomes knowledge and experience that benefits others. My study of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Hypnosis, business, spiritual practice and human development over the last 40 years has given me a wide knowledge base to share from. The success, confidence and better feeling that people gain from their time from me makes it all the more satisfying the longer I am in the people business. I consider myself to be one of the luckiest people in the world to have the disposition and enjoyment of people that I do.

I have been offering teaching, public speaking and leadership to groups my whole life, as a simple and direct expression of who I am. I am one of those kids that seemed destined at a very young age to lear, teach and help others.

I attended Bennington College in 1985, and I am currently completing my clinical requirements at Hypnosis Motivation Institute in Tarzana, CA. In between, I have continued to be a compulsive learner, following the advice and studying the techniques of the best teachers I could find in the areas of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Psychology, Personal Development, Sales, Management, Leadership, Entrepreneurship and the healing arts. As a true autodidact, I have spent my lifetime learning to apply the wisdom and skills I have absorbed to the benefit of myself and others. I am a veteran student of A Course in Miracles and formerly led weekly ACIM groups at Breathe Books in Baltimore, Maryland.

About the lesson

The most important part of what I can do for anybody is to listen to them. My first job is to allow you to tell me what is truly happening for you, learn more about what your expereince is made out of, and really listen to where it is you want to go. All the techniques and knowledge in the world will only provide value to you, the client, if they are truly built around the experience you are having and the conditions you have going on in your life.

I am glad to work with the most practically oriented as well as the most completely practical and pragmatic of students. No matter who the student is, there is always an appropriate way forward for that student. That way forward is born of a true cooperation between student and teacher that aids the teacher in getting to know the student well.

I feel that a student must feel respected by their teacher, must feel that the teacher has the student's interests at heart and should be able to understand what to expect from the learning process and be given an understanding of how the goal the student has will be accomplished. The teacher should be someone that the student respects and feels safe with, demonstrating responsible and compassionate behavior. We are all equals, and the teaching relationship should feel like a cooperation between equals.

I will never forget performing Sound Healing at Lighting in a Bottle and the Center for Spiritual Living in Westlake, CA in 2013.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
1. Am I prepared to do what it takes to accomplish my goals, knowing that it will take some time, effort and commitment on my part if change is to happen?

2. Am I ready to be responsible for how hard I will work for my own benefit, and do I feel responsible enough to myself to ask for help or clarification when I need it?

3. Am I ready to get the most value of the money I spend on myself getting professional help by doing my part to make it a success?

4. When it comes to what my goals and desires are, am I ready to go through a process of learning about myself and my goals, even if the the path of learning, change and growth may be exciting at some times and yet uncomfortable at others?

5. Do I understand that sometimes change takes more time than we want it to, and that I may need to adjust my expectations in order to stay on the path that lleads to my goal?

6. Do I understand that my teacher is only half the equation, and only half the partnership, as in life? And so I prepared to be challenged, to ask for help when I need it, or to select a new teacher or new direction if necessary?

7. Am I prepared to empower my teacher or coach with what they need to know about me so that they can be of the most help possible?

My individual sessions are $120/hr, and include tools and information to help each client reach their goals as soon as possible with as few sessions in the office as possible. The initial consultation is free, and is actually the beginning of the work we do. Some sessions may be longer than one hour.
