About April
I am attending school at Lane Community College, set on a path for an Associates in Arts transfer to the University of Oregon. I will graduate with a Bachelor’s in English Education. Reading and teaching are two of my passions, during the pandemic I helped a lot of kids keep up with their reading levels. I provide engaging and well thought out plans to meet an end goal. I take into consideration what students are learning in their class and make sure they are caught up. Literature, study guides, writing skills, I can do it all. I love feedback both from my student and parents as well, working out what works best for everybody. Communication is key!

Deadly! April was so immensely helpful in guiding my 3rd grader through his creative writing skills. He struggled a lot with getting engaged in his writing while also using proper grammar and spelling. Her prices are extremely reasonable and she’s super flexible with the times that she’s available. He’s doing much better in his class with her help!!
