About Dustin

Having been a formal teacher for 8 years in both rural and urban environments in K-12 environments in both public and charter schools as well as being an outdoor educator, a youth pastor, and a certified youth leadership and development coach, I am well versed in working with youth. For going on 33 years, I have worked with youth helping to bring out the best in them.

I have my BS in Bible with a youth Ministry Emphasis. On top of that, I went to the University of Minnesota to get my masters in Education with an Emphasis in Outdoor Education. From there, I went on to get my Life Coaching Certification with ICF, my Leadership Coaching with the Maxwell Leadership Team in Youth, Family, Parenting, and Business Leadership as well as Public Speaking and DISC Behavioral Coaching. I furthered that with Marriage Coaching with Drs, Les and Leslie Parrot and now am pursuing another masters Marriage and Family Therapy.

I have been in business for over a combined 30 years in different endeavors and now have Master's Hand Coaching. I love helping other people excel in faith, family, and freedom so they can be a REAL Success on the stage of life that matters most, their front door.

I have written and produced educational curriculum and have taught it with great results. I have parent letters recommending me to principals and other district personnel. I have served in many different districts and in many capacities including reading specialists, SPED Levels 1-4, Art, Gym, and anything else you can think of and have even had longer term assignments. I even served in behavioral specialist roles helping kids process different situations.

I know full well that each kid is different and that each has a preferred style. I seek to identify that and work from that stand point. I seek to understand the materials long with them and help them gain a deeper understanding of it. I prefer to work with 3rd through 12th grade students and even college age students. I am not hard math student after about 9th grade. Nor am I a hard science person after about 9th grade. I love the social sciences, reading, history, writing, speech, and that side of things. Even business is fun as I have been in business a long time. I am artistic to a degree as I had a photography business and I do graphical work myself.
