About Albertine
Hi! My name is Albertine and I have a passion for positively impacting children’s lives. I take a creative and personalized approach to tutoring as we all have different learning styles. I have over 5 years of experience working with children. Those include tutoring at the YMCA, Summer Camp Counselor, and Teaching Assistant. I’ve completed an AmeriCorps program with City Year, an education nonprofit. During the program, I worked in an elementary school supporting kids in grades Pre-K to 5th in various activities like small group reading and writing lessons, Social-emotional learning, and after-school programs. I’ve also recently returned from teaching in my home Ghana. I look forward to collaborating with parents to meet their children's learning needs.
