About Tom

*** Please note: $100 per private lesson. I only teach private lessons. Proof of covid vaccine for in person classes are required for my lessons.***

I have been teaching TaiChi and various internal energy arts (qigong, etc.) formally since about 2005. I lived in China from 1998-2005, and studied intensively these arts during this period, and have been training for several decades. I'm the co-founder of the International Sun Taichi Association, having apprenticed in Bejing with the grand-daughter of the Sun style Taichi founder. ((concealed information)

I enjoy teaching students to help them develop balance, and help them grow and develop their health. I have taught all levels of students and all ages as well.

While in my early years I focused on the martial side of these practices, these days my teaching practices focus on health cultivation and holistic well being. These arts have had a significant positive impact on my life, and I enjoy passing them on to help others.

I enjoy sharing the arts I train in with other folks who are interested in developing healthier and more balanced lives.

I teach only 1-1 private lessons these days.

I enjoy meeting students and discussing their goals and backgrounds, and also getting the chance to share some background information on the various arts I practice and teach. I like doing this over a sharing a cup of tea!
