About DANIEL
CORONAVIRUS UPDATE: Fully available for online tutoring via Skype/Zoom.
I have recently completed a Masters' degree in History at the University of Cambridge (Queens' College). History, English, and Economics are the subjects which I specialise in as a tutor. I have significant past experience helping students prepare themselves in these subjects for GCSE and A-Level exams. I have also recently secured a training contract at a magic circle law firm, and I'd be happy to provide careers advice as well.
I have been tutoring since my final year at Haberdashers' School and throughout my undergraduate degree - I graduated with a First Class degree in History from the University of Bristol in 2018 and I have now been tutoring for 4 years. I have had diverse experiences in helping pupils with a range of different individual needs.
As a tutor I enjoy meeting academic goals together with a student and my approach is two-fold; optimising exam and assessment technique as well as nurturing a genuine enthusiasm for the subject. I am also very patient and I am comfortable adapting my methods of teaching to the individual needs of tutees in order to help them learn more efficiently.
