About Matt

I've been coaching and instructing baseball for over a decade. My experience ranges from a lead baseball program developer for Ripken Baseball to running baseball clinics both domestically and internationally. I currently serve as a Head Coach for high school and elite level club programs.

I got started teaching after spending many years playing. After spending years developing instructional programs and managing various camps and clinics I began teaching privately.

I've previously played collegiate baseball. My instructional background includes working under the mentor ship of Cal and Bill Ripken along with many other former professional players and top level coaches that served both at the professional and collegiate levels. I currently serve as a high school and club level coach.

About the lesson

I always begin by evaluating my clients. This determines the areas I should work to improve.

I've worked with students of varying ages and talent levels. I can work with players of any position with interest in improving any area of their game.

My advice would be to find someone who had experience teaching the game not just playing the game. In addition many instructors teach the same way and same thing to every student. Every player is different and therefore should always receive a detailed evaluation to determine specific areas where improvements are needed.
