About Kailyn

I am a USAG certified women's gymnastics coach. I have a strong background in gymnastics. I trained at Diamond and was a competitive gymnast for both JOGA and USAG. I excelled to Level 9 in USAG and Level A (now known as Level 1) in JOGA. I also competed in high school and qualified for NCAA State Sectionals each year. I am able and qualified to coach all JOGA levels as well as excelerated cheer tumbling.

My job as a coach is very unique and fulfilling. I thoroughly enjoy teaching gymanstics and being able to help my students excel. I have the pleasure of coaching Diamond's competitve team JOGA Levels 4 though. Being a coach, to me, isn't just about training and winning, but about personal imporvement. This sport is very individualzed, unlike any other and that is what makes it much more personal. Each student has a different learning style, personality and training technique that is unique to them. I utilize all of those qualities to help them grow as a gymnast inside and outside of the gym.

I am a USAG certified women's Gymanstics coach. As well as a certified EMT in the state of New Jersey. I am professionly trainied in first aid and injury prevention.

About the lesson

Each student is different and should be trained as such. When I begin working with a new student, I have to establish the type of person they are. I usually begin with a few basic questions to gauge their skill level. I will then ask them to perform those skills so I can better assess if improvements need to be made to their current skills. As the training goes on, I am able to get a better understanding of their potential and gear their goals in a more strategic manner that best suites their learning style.

I work with Diamond's competitve girls team Levels 4 through 6. I also train cheerleaders for basic to excelerated cheer tumbling.
