About Angie
I've been teaching saxophone, flute, and clarinet lessons for a little over a decade now. I have a Bachelor's in saxophone performance as well as a Master's in jazz studies from CCM. I am very skilled in helping students learn a brand new instrument or improve at an instrument by focusing on fundamentals of how to produce an exceptional sound on their instrument. I also specialize in teaching jazz style and improvisation.

For new students the first lesson usually consists of having them play some things they're already comfortable with to get a sense of where they're at, and lots of questions to see what kind of music they've played before.
For beginners the first lesson is usually showing them how to put together the instrument and how to get a sound out!
I've worked with 4th grade through 12th grade students, and also adults of varying ages!
