With my ten years' experience tutoring French, the lessons you will have with me are stimulating, friendly and fun.
Your French language competence will be raised to a higher level, whether you are a complete beginner, a GCSE or A Level pupil looking to improve your grade, or an adult learner who is returning to the language after some years.

I've been tutoring French for over ten years, to learners of all ages and levels of competence. I have lived and worked in France and am qualified to degree level (BA Modern Languages). I am also a member of the Institute of Linguists, as a translator of French to English, and I studied at the Sorbonne, Paris, as part of my degree course.
If you choose to learn French with me, your lessons will be structured in a way that helps you to attain your language goals, by taking into account where you are now and, from that starting point, building steadily, to achieve the skills acquisition you are looking for. You want results; so, together, we need to have a clear idea of where you want to be at the end of your language studies - it's then a combined effort to get you there.
Lessons can either be delivered in your home or conducted online.
Above all else, language learning needs to be enjoyable, so that your hard work doesn't just feel like a boring slog. So, I try to make your lessons relaxed but focused, and we will range across a wide field of topics that equip you with a varied vocabulary and plenty of opportunities for you to put your new language skills into practice.
