Darlene is VERY talented and the best wire smith around. The way she incorporates precious stones, sea glass, wire, metal (that she fatigues/pounds) and brings it all together in the most unique stunning configurations that you get to wear is amazing!!! You will love everything from her and she is also a great teacher. Take a class from her new studio and you will make your own beautiful creation and have a blast!

Darlene is an excellent teacher. The classes are well organized and her instructions/demonstrations easy to follow. She is flexible, allowing for students to put their own ideas into a piece. And what we produce is amazing! I've used what I've learned to continue producing at home, adding my own design ideas as I go.

Darlene also offers an open studio opportunity to use her space and equipment for projects involving tools most of us don't have at home.

The studio is on private property, a 5 minute ferry ride from Anacortes to Guemes Island, and a quick walk or drive from the Guemes dock. It is spacious, inviting and well equipped. Class size is small--never overcrowded.
