About...
I learned at a very early age, the power art can have on the human spirit. With constant encouragement to pursue the arts from my father, I earned a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts Degree in Ceramics, with an emphasis in Art Education. I am is a teacher, and mother of four, bonus mom to 3. My mediums include clay, paint, printmaking, journaling, mixed media and so much more, Art is at the core of who I am and everything that I do. My work reflects distinctive textures, bold colors, and whimsical compositions. I love sharing art with people of all ages and the inpsirational power art has in igniting creativity and healing.
I started teaching K-12 students over 10 years ago in a small town. I eventually opened my own business and taught private art lessins to K-12 students after school. Soon after, I started dooing step-by-step paint classes with adults several eveings a week. I have taught one on one and classes of 40 students.

I like to see what they are passionate about and determine where they feel their skill level is in whatever medium they choose to work in by speaking with them and looking at thier recent work.
I have taught one-on-one and classes of 40 students ages randing from 4 to 95, from all different socioeconomical backgrounds.
I think it is important to work with someone that has a similar style but also someone that will help you push your creative boundaries and "paint outside the box" so to speak.
