I enjoy helping people learn or improve their artistic skills. Love to see how creating art brings joy

Self taught; I have been drawing since I was 3 or 4 and began painting with acrylics in 2014. I began using acrylic painting to treat my depressive symptoms. Began using art and an intervention tool for my social work clients. Started a business that provided art as a intervention tool for depression.

About the lesson

Introduce project and tools. Explain the steps to be taken. I do the first step as a demonstration. Student follows along. Thisbprocess is repeated until the painting is finished

look for someone with youth and adult teaching experience. To know how to paint is one thing, but instructing requires a bit of artistic charisma.

I am proud of a recent art session I introduced last month. I taught my participates (ages 7 thru 50...a family group) to paint wood.
