About Vasu m

I love working with children! They inspire me with their abandonment of rules and their vision of creating astounding work! My journey through art has been long and happy and would love to impart my knowledge to others!

Everyday I am inspired by nature, animals, children, laughter and and joy. Art is a wonderful means to communicate our emotions through a symbolic language and cathartically transfer these emotion in our work. You can visit my Instagram artbyvasu to see some samples of my work. I stared working in oil pastels and now I work in acrylic. I have exhibited and tought at the Corpus Christi art center many times. Hope I get to meet with you and talk further. Thanks !

I started teaching in the summer camps through my work and at the Corpus Christi Art Center.

I graduated from University of Wales as a Graphic Designer and I worked in that field for 20 years I. Wales and once I arrived here I worked as a Graphic Designer for the next 12 years.for a nonprofit. I discovered my passion for art here and have been painting for the last 20 years!!

About the lesson

First I would meet with the client and get to know their requirements and the level of their work. Based on that experience I would guide them to further expand their knowledge about the basics of art education and various techniques to create their masterpiece and make this art journey exciting for them.

I work with elementary students ages from 6-12 and any age!

I have recently started selling my work at the ArtWalk every first Friday of the month. I meet with amazing people and learn from them their interpretation of my work!
