About Randy

My instruction is special in that I have been teaching since 1973. I have taught many differnt arts and crafts to many different ages and levels of skills. Oil painting and acrylic have always been my preference and took my first Oil lesson in the 1960’s.

I enjoy sharing things I have learned about art and painting and seeing other artists grow and learn.

About the lesson

I typically meet with potential students for a free meeting class. My classes need to be two hours and twice a week. We can discuss any variables. Supplies list can be made during the “first free” class where we would discuss further classes and students goals, and intentions with the talents they will be developing.

That will help in planning of further classes. We at that point can begin to schedule on going classes begining immediately.

I have worked with students of all ages and levels of talent.

I recommend first finding someone who you feel comfortable around. Then someone who does work that you admire. At the same time one that is open to your tastes in art, meaning you like abstract even though that is not their style they are open to your tastes and able to teach you how to improve your style.
