About Thelma

I have been an art teacher for over 15 years. I started to perfect my skill in art when I was 12 years old. I have painted hundreds of canvases and murals in my lifetime. My specialization is in oil on canvas, however, I stand out as a teacher because I am a professional in several other kinds of arts as well, such as pencil drawing, charcoal, acrylic paint, and water color. I love to teach people of all ages and abilities.

I love to see people's progression as I teach them, and their happiness during and when their work is finished.

I love the teacher student bond that is created through patience, dedication, laughter, and the therapy of art.

I have studied art in Brazil, England, and America. I also lived in France where I practiced my art with the incredible natural lighting that France is known for.

Certificate in advanced Art in Brighton College of Technology, Brighton, Sussex, England.
Art classes at Truman College, Chicago, IL

I'm the author of "The Land Behind the Moon" on iBooks, as well as the llustrater and composer for the songs in this book.
