About Heidi

We specialize in teaching step by step Dot Mandala creation. Our one of a kind teaching method helps students master Dot Mandala painting.

I enjoy seeing the sense of accomplishment that people show after creating a painting. Knowing that I have in a way participated in the happiness of that person brings me joy.

I started creating Dot Mandala Christmas ornaments and selling them at events. When people saw how unique they were they began asking if I could teach classes. I had a background in art education and love teaching so the next logical step was to start holding classes.

I studied Art Education at Miami University. I am self taught on may varieties of art.

About the lesson

I like to find out what the student is looking for as far as a learning experience. I show them the types of paintings I create. They can pick a previously designed painting or I can custom design a painting for them or their painting party.

I work with all ages from around 8 years old up to 90+. I really enjoy working with seniors and special needs individuals.

Make sure that the teacher matches up with what you are wanting to learn. Look for an easy going teacher that makes learning fun and easy.

One of my favorite art events was painting a large 400 lb concrete pig. My design won the Pablo Pigcasso. Loved it, so much fun!

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Think about what it is you are wanting to accomplish with your lessons. Be realistic about the time frame with which it takes to not only learn but master different lessons.
