About Dee

Have a passion for learning. Use my struggle with ADHD and learning to help take concepts out of the book and easy to understand.

Couldn't decide between teaching and nursing. Then I discovered nurses could also teach. Problem solved.

Family Nurse Practitioner

About the lesson

Initially determine the learing style and cater tutoring to what the student needs to succeed.

Have taught CNA class, EKG, medical terminology, clinical rotations for CNA, RN and NP students.

Find someone that enjoys teaching and is encouraging. They should be willing to meet you where you are and help you get to where you are trying to go.

Currenlty stepping out of my comfort zone to run a practice.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Should be honest with themselves/tutor and try and identify what is difficult for them to learn. They may not be able to pinpoint it exactly but a good tutor should be able to help them figure it out and work through the challenge. The tutor can't help if the student isn't honest.

Dee was awesome! I struggled in A&P and thought I was going to fail by mid semester but I meet with Dee and she helped by giving me tips and tricks for memorizing and really broke down areas I didn’t understand. Finally started to understand the questions on exams and how to answer them. Will defiantly continue to use her services for future classes.
