About Daniel

I stand out because I manage to personalize my classes so that my clients reach as quickly as possible and in the best way in their goals.

I started teaching by giving judo classes to my 16 year old helping my father. Since then teaching people and improving their lives has become my greatest passion.

Daniel Pontelo Barboza will be our Head Trainer and responsible for improving your health and quality of life. Let's get to know a little bit of his background:

➡️ Daniel is 👨‍🎓Undergrad in Brazil in 🤸‍♂️Exercise Science with Specialization courses in: Exercise Physiology • Exercise Biochemistry • 💪Strength and 🏃‍♀️Conditioning • Sports Training • Teaching in Martial Arts. Each of these specialization courses lasts for 2 years. Additionally, it has more than 50 improvement courses.

➡️ For more than 5 years, he was the owner and Head Coach of 🏋️‍♀️CrossFit in Brazil, @crossfitpraiadacosta. In this endeavor he managed to train several athletes, while getting people out of a sedentary lifestyle and improve the health of many others.

➡️ More than 15 years of experience in gyms and functional training.

➡️ A great history as an athlete, obtaining excellent results in 🤼‍♂️Wrestling, BJJ (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu) and participating in the Brazilian 🥋Judo Team.

➡️ Currently residing in California and working in the Marin County area, giving private classes to students in the comfort of their homes, helping them to face this period of stress.

About the lesson

I start with an assessment. I make an assessment, and ask the student to make a self-assessment, so I cross check the information and show my client the result I got. After the client's approval, I start programming everything that will be done.
