About Joseph
I'm Joseph Scott Jr. and I established G. I. Joe Fitness in 2006 as an alternative to traditional personal training experiences. I realized the need for an alternative to the over crowded and often intimidating gyms that did more to push someone away from getting in shape than it helped.

Also, the typical high cost of private 1:1 personal training deterred many people and lead them to try to guide and push themselves to get fit, which then often lead to failure and frustration.
My goal was to bypass all those problems and provide personal, 1:1 fitness training for anyone with the motivation to train hard. Hence my motto, "Train Hard or Go Home!" At G.I Joe Fitness, I work with you to help you reach the goals that YOU set for yourself. I push you hard, harder than you might push yourself, yet I do it safely, and with your best interest in mind. Lastly, I do it in a way that makes you want to continue working out, not give up.
I am a Certified Personal Trainer with the International Fitness and Wellness Academy (IFAC), and as such, I know the best methods to help achieve your fitness goals. I also have a background in the USMC as well as working in the mental health field. I draw on all these resources to provide a training experience that EXCELS!
In my training center you will find everything you need to reach success. I have treadmills for cardio conditioning, dumb bells, free weights, and weight machines for strength training, and all the other tools you will find useful to reach your goals of getting in shape and being fit. Lastly, there is a 100 yard alley right outside our door where the truly EXTENSIVE cardio workouts take place.
