About Alex

I am a teacher and co-owner of the Winter School of Music. We have been ranked as one of Thumbtack’s Best of 2015 and 2016 in the Lessons category as a result of great customer reviews. I bring my excitement and love of the piano to every lesson. Students are taught to read music, sight read proficiently and understand music theory. Our school has an extensive music library of classical, pop, jazz, religious, Broadway hits, and movie music that we are happy to share with our students. The Winter School has 3 performance opportunities yearly: a formal spring recital, a costume halloween party and concert, and a holiday concert in December. These are wonderful opportunities for students to perform for their family and friends.

I began playing the piano when I was four-years-old, and I instantly fell in love. As I became more advanced, I wanted to share my love and knowledge of music with others, so that's exactly what I'm doing and I couldn't be happier.

I have been playing the piano for 18 years, and I have been teaching for the past 7 years.
