About Marshall
I am just a person who is passionate about music and teaching. I have been involved in music one way or another since I was very young. I have a wide array of musical knowledge and would love to share it.
Music makes the soul come to life.
I was a music choir and band section leader all throughout high school and I loved leading a group of musicians so i decided I wanted to do that for the rest of my life.
I am 3rd-year Bachelors of Music Education student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with over 10 years of piano, percussion, and guitar experience.

Before working with any student I first ask them questions to get an idea of how much they already know about the given topic. This way we won't waste time on topics they already know.
I have worked students as young as 6 or 7 and as old as college students
As long as you have a passion for something you can and will succeed.
Recently, the men's choir I sing in at the university went and sang at the art museum on campus. The acoustics in there are beautiful and a few people gathered around to listen. It was an amazing experience.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Before going to a teacher I always ask myself "Can I solve this on my own?" and "Can I solve this with help from a peer?" Of both of those is no, then I go to the teacher.
