About Meredith

The most fun I have is seeing students learn to make music. I teach any age from age 8 through 80. My students play recitals and participate in Federated Music Club activities. I am specially educated in music theory (including ear training and sight-singing, and composing) and in use of the Suzuki method of teaching music for the piano, violin, and viola. I have taught music theory as a graduate student at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, and have a doctorate in musical composition from The University of Oklahoma (OU). I have years of experience playing in Symphony Orchestras and playing in a variety of small groups as well, including many weddings and with visiting artists such as Sammy Davis, Jr. and others.

About the lesson

Piano lessons offered by Meredith are tailored to each student's needs and level. Lessons can also be held online. Lessons are also available in Arkadelphia. The first lesson is free to define learning goals and methodology.
