About Mary
My lessons provide an enriching learning experience in a safe and supportive environment. Each lesson will consist of music theory, music appreciation, music history, and song learning. Every lesson is catered to each student's specific needs. Lesson offerings are provided to students ages 3 and up, for levels beginner through advanced!
Learning how to play an instrument does so much for each person; emotionally, spiritually, physically, mentally, etc! I love seeing how music speaks to each individual and I love that I can help others learn to love and grow with music!

At our first lesson, I allow each student to explore their new instrument. We talk about the mechanics and physics of it all, which most students tend to find fascinating! We then begin with the basics; we talk about proper body poise, placement of hands, basic music theory etc. I also like to spend some time finding out what type of background in music does each student posess, as well as getting an idea of what their musical tastes are, and what their personal goals might be by way of music lessons .
