Experienced tutor in Piano in Brooklyn, Avery offers private lessons tailored to your needs.

He was very helpful, patient and adaptive to learning styles. I’m a very visual learner and at a point I was having difficulties understanding the 1 through 7 number system for the keys and he drew it out for me on paper to enhance understanding. I highly recommend Avery’s lessons if you’re looking for a patient and adaptive teacher.

Avery James is a very patient teacher. He was able to thoroughly explain not only the song I was working on, but the music theory behind it as well.

Avery is one of the best teachers I ever had & he is great at providing support & encouragement when you have self doubt. Also his patience is much appreciated. He helped me achieve an A in my keyboard class & he’s great at what he does.
