About John
I've been teaching privately in Charlotte for over 20 years with a steady roster of students from young children who are 7+ years old as well as adult student and from the earliest level to graduate students working towards their degrees in performance. Lessons are always 1on1 and are tailored to meet the specific pedagogical and personal needs during weekly lessons. A patient approach guarantees student success and each session provides great enjoyment and an atmosphere of ease and security promoting an exceptional learning environment.

By training and experience, I am a concert pianist with an active performing career and earned my advanced degrees in piano from New York University and the Manhattan School of Music.
