About Marian
I am an experienced music teacher offering piano lessons to students age 6-80. I have my degree in music education from West Chester University.
As well as teaching private lessons I play piano and organ at Church of the Cross and direct the church choir. I am responsible for the Sunday music and special music programs for the church.
I enjoy seeing students progress in learning to play piano. Some have wanted to do this for a long time! (as with the adults)
I have taught music over 30 years.

I taught elementary music for eight years and after having two children began teaching private lessons in my home.
I have my music degree from West Chester University and worked for permanent certification in PA.

I see the student for the first lesson which is free. The student purchases the books. We start right in learning the piano.
I have worked with all ages and all levels.
Make sure the teacher has a music degree and is a patient person.
Recently we have moved from Carlisle to Dillsburg, PA.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Am I willing to dedicate my time to the practice necessary to make progress in this activity which does not happen overnight?
To take lessons it is important that the student have an instrument at home to practice regularly.
