About Daniel
Over thirty years' teaching experience at every age and performance level. I cater instruction to what the student wants, with recommendations on alternative paths of study. i am comfortable teaching piano/keyboard in any style.
I have taught most of my life, including teaching some drum lessons to local students while I was still in high school.
I have a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from the Hartt School of Music and a Master of Music in Conducting from Northwestern University. I have taught privately for 30 years plus, and have over twenty years experience teaching instrumental and vocal music in public schools.

The first lesson involves an evaulation of present skills and what the student wishes to accomplish. I then help them set up a personal regimen that will move them towards their goals. We discuss repertoire, experience, types of music, and technique. It's also important that students understand they need to invest some time to practice in order to be successful.
All ages, all styles, all ability levels. Children, adolescents, adults. Professional coachings. Adult beginners. People who played many years ago and want to start again.
