At first I always want to get to know my students. It is important to see what they like and what music they listen to, in order to find them music that they will like to practice to play or to sing. Then, I always practice with my piano students correct had position, and learn a few scales with them, because scales are an essentian tool for good playing technique. For my voice students, I introduce them to the correct breathing technique and a few excersices that will help them to expend their voice range. After that I will give my students a simple song or piece to learn that they will like.
Typically I work with students ages from 7-12.
Always seek the teachers who are passionate about what they do.
