About Angela

I have taught for 9 years and strive to provide the most effective strategies for each individual student whether in a private or group setting.

Whether my students want to just play and sing for themselves or take their talents to the stage I enjoy helping students explore their musical interests and goals.

I began teaching straight out of college and fell in love with it!

Master of Music in Vocal Performance

Bachelor of Arts in Music

8 years with the Raleigh Piano Teachers Association

6 years on the board of the Raleigh Piano Teachers association

Current member of the Greensboro Music Teachers Association

About the lesson

I love to start out with a 15 minute chat on the phone so I can get to know you and and any musical background you or your child may have. I also use this time to discuss my studio policies and answer any additional questions you may have. After this we will schedule an initial lesson.

I have worked with students as young as 5 and as old as 70. For piano I will work with beginners through early advanced students. For Theory and Voice I will teach from beginning through advanced students.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Do you have any specific goals for your progression?

What kinds of music do you enjoy the most?

Do you have any learning styles, preferences, or differences you are aware of that might help you to learn more effectively?
