About Linnea
***Due to the impact of Covid-19, I am offering free zoom call consultations. Please contact me for more information.***
Linnea started her musical career at age 8 with piano and has been teaching music lessons for 8 years. She holds a degree in music from Ohio State University with a concentration in violin and was the recipient of multiple scholarships and awards over the years. She is revered for her work ethic and unique perspective on music education. While her focus is primarily on strings, Linnea was a trumpet player in The Ohio State University Marching Band for the past five years. She taught at Musicologie in Westerville and Michelle Tuesday in Columbus the past 2 years.
I love seeing my students grow musically and as people.

Linnea is a kind and patient teacher. She has great musical knowledge and works very well with children.
Linnea gave my 7 year old daughter violin lessons. She is wonderful at understanding how to communicate with a young child in order to develop their love of music. She is very patient and encouraging.
Linnea is very kind and patient. She is good at finding common ground and putting you at ease. She is knowledgeable and realistic. She commends you and gently gives practical suggestions on how to improve your playing. I highly recommend her as a music teacher!
Linnea adapted well to teaching my son after his previous instructor stopped teaching. She kept him engaged and interested in a tough instrument for kids
