About Elaine

I like to engage my students in developing a "musical ear, mind and heart."

No more tearful practice regimens. I know how to make learning music theory fun, sight reading skills easy to learn, and repertoire playing techniques joyful.

The lessons I teach focus on the beginning student learning how to become musically literate, play with rhythmic vitality, forward motion, and musical expression.

For returning to the piano students, I work on helping them fill in the gaps to learning they may have missed to where they can then build new skills the good foundation we worked on establishing.

I'm all about making piano fun to learn and play.

I love what I do, I want my students to love playing the piano as much as I enjoy teaching it.
