About Casey
At C-Clef studios, every lesson is specially and uniquely catered to each student. Lessons aren’t prepared with each students learning style in mind because no two children are alike. There is no “one-size fits all” curriculum! Students will learn to thrive at a steady pace and one that matches their own, whole still having their skills molded and stretched!
I have been studying music all of my life and began giving lessons for nearly 10 Years. My first lesson was for alto saxophone and then I began to take on piano students. I love to watch my students grow and feel the success of a great performance and also be able to understand that failure is still growth!
By Winter 2023, I will have graduated with my Master's degree in Music Education.
Upon beginning my first year at university, I was offered a job teaching for a small music business, giving lessons on alto saxophone.

I begin with a free trial lesson at a shorter duration than usual lessons. This lesson is to find where my student is at and to attempt to understand their learning style and pace. This lesson is also for the parents so that I can meet them and we can talk about a payment plan and go over contracts.
This first lesson is very important because it helps me plan the layout of the future lesson plans and decide how I will go about the curriculum for the specific student.
I have worked with students as young as 8 years old to students as old as 40-50 years old.
Some students are looking to learn piano from scratch, whole others want to get back into playing.

I typically charge $25 for 50 minutes. This rate is very low for a music lesson and I would definitely like to go higher
