About Jeffrey

The lessons I teach are areas which I have vast amount of experiance and dedication too.

I ensure you that I can help get you to above average level in any of the lessons I provide.

I have spent 17 years being classicaly trained by a private professor and have completed up to Level 10 of the Certificate of Merit by the Music Teacher's Association in piano.

I have been studying chess for about 10 years and played competively for a short while. I also created a chess club at my high school called the Monrovia Chess Association where we had tournaments against neighboring cities (Temple City and San Marino). I excel at being able to train new players to moderate professionals.

High School a variety of my friends wanted to learn and I wanted to share my abilities. My first student was my friend Justin Castro who practiced with me till he learned how to play a song to ask a girl to Prom. From their I started teaching more piano from beginner range to intermediate board room piano.

17 years of experience

Personally mentored by Cambridge, and world class pianist, Carolyn Chu

Level 10 Certificate of Merit by the Music Teacher’s Association

About the lesson

1.) Assess level of skill and establish connection

2.) Build foundation of skills (Theory, Majors and Minors, proper piano techniques)

3.) Teach and challenge student

4.) Enjoy and be proud

Conpletely new! All the way till intermediate (10 page classical pieces. With technique and theory)

Look for a person who will challenge you and yet motivate you to learn piano. The piano is not the easiest instrument but the pay off for learning it is unlike any instrument in the world. You need someone who will push you constantly without being abusive.

He’s smart and understands what I can do. Jeffrey was my first piano teacher and he has taught me all the foundations of a professional piano player. He pushes me to get better and I’m happy because of it. Love the guy!

My own professor charges $50 per 30 minutes and at the moment I would say I am worthy to at least half her rate.
