About Phillip
I teach you how to make music, not just play a piece of music.
I enjoy helping people develop a closer connection their instruments and understanding music.
Starting teaching in college around 1989.
I have a Bachelors Degree in Music composition with focus on piano and music theory. I’ve played since I was 7.

Mainly beginners.
When the pandemic started I began playing an hour long show everyday. Some pop, classical, jazz and some improv. Now that I’m back to work I only do a show once or twice a week.

I start students with little to no training with 30 minute lessons till I feel they’re ready for 60 minute lessons. $25/30 minutes, $50/60 minutes.
