About Diego
Fun piano lessons. Won't leave until the lesson of the day is learned. Extremely fun and patience to work with. 8 years of teaching experience with children and adults.
The part I enjoy with every single lesson is the stimuli I can provide to my clients and more knowledge for my students and for me as well.
I enjoy every moment of instruction, like it was my first day when I started in this path.
A wise family member told me to "do what life asks of you, instead of what you want out of life." I've been Studying and performing since the age of 11, and luckily life wanted me to become an educator. I usually tell my friends and acquaintances "my job found me". I wouldn't trade it for the world.
I have been a piano instructor since 2012 working in company of La Casa Montessori, Lectura Montessori, and Oak Park Montessori at Illinois. Recently I have moved to the Bay area to expand my education at San Jose State University.

My first instinct is to connect emotionally with my student. As an instructor my priority is to serve and expand the knowledge of my pupils, to make piano lessons fun, exciting and promote discipline in the process.
I have had the pleasure to be of service mostly to kids ages 4-17 and a handful of older folks who have wanted to pick up the art of playing the piano.
Patience is the key. It's a skill that for any vocation we all need to develop. Learning to play the piano is a difficult, enjoyable, and satisfying task we can all enjoy.
I had to say goodbye at the three schools I was working along with. I was sad, but my educational priorities had to move forward in order to be of better service to my students. They gave me the best and most endearing farewell and so long I've ever had. Their love filled me with so much joy and happiness that I could bear!

I would love to give 100 stars to rate Diego if there was an option! Our family loves his teaching style! Diego is a fenominal musician! He is very professional. We started as beginners and Diego is super patient and supportive! I also take voice lessons with him and he is as fenominal with his voice!!!! I recommend everyone to take lessons with him, he gives so much more than just lessons, his is very generous with his time, and you learn way more then anywhere else!!! If you are ready to learn from the pro and see real results, you should work with Diego. He is outstanding!
Is able to make it fun and keep my son interested.
Very patient and flexible with my preschooler. I highly recommend!
Mr. Diego taught me different musical notes, how to read musical notes, and how to use the piano keyboard at my Spanish immersion school La Casa. I played the song “Balloon Ride” in my first musical concert at La Casa thanks to Mr. Diego. He was a kind instructor.
Diego assessed my son’s abilities and quickly found the right starting place for his level. He had a great manner with my 10 yr old, was patient and guiding. My child always looked forward to his piano lesson with Diego. We recommend Him highly!
My son talked about piano almost everyday. He still brings up that "Diego's in California now and there is no piano class today".
I wanted to learn to play the piano as a post-retirement hobby and my experience with Diego was terrific. He was patient, friendly and full of insights to improve my playing. I truly enjoyed his teaching and regretted losing him when he moved to the Bay Area.
He was very flexible with his time and would go to my child’s preschool to give him lessons. He was so patient and wonderful working with the kids. My son learned so much from him in a briefly time. He reallybstarted to understand the different notes and how the keys worked. He was even excited to practice.
