About Larissa

Your Musical Journey Starts Here!

Music isn’t just an art form; it’s a proven path to personal development. Research demonstrates its positive impact on brain function, memory, and creative expression. Beyond the science, it’s a deeply enjoyable and enriching experience that stays with you for life.

Larissa Waldie, a vibrant dramatic soprano and dedicated music educator, draws upon her extensive performance background to inform her teaching. She is committed to building a solid foundation in technique while nurturing each student’s individual sound, fostering confidence and an enduring passion for music.

Larissa is currently accepting new piano and voice students into her private studio. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills, all ages and levels are warmly welcome. For those outside the area, convenient and effective virtual lessons are also offered.

About the lesson

I am a strong believer in working with each of my students' individual needs and learning processes. I am passionate about nurturing my student's passion for music as well as learning how to be a successful musician, and learning an artform that lasts a lifetime.

I have worked (and continue to work) with students of all ages (children to grandparents!), and have experience with special needs.

Have your first music lesson with an open mind, and look for a teacher you really connect with. If enjoy your lessons with your music teacher, chances are you will continue to learn and be inspired to learn music!
