Music is my life. Music is my passion. I love to teach what I have learned. I feel like I'm passing it on to the next generation. I am looking for students who are as passionate about music as I am. It gets me excited when my students are excited. I love to see them improve as the lessons progress. It's never too late to start learning piano. I try to make it fun.

I started teaching my girlfriend's daughter about three years ago. I got so much gratification from teaching her I decided to teach more students. I get excited when a student learns their lesson and I love to see them excited too.

I have played piano for 50 years. I majored in music for a year before I hit the road. I learned therory and ear training. I learned music history which comes in handy sometimes. I will incorperate Music theory in my lessons as well as ear training.

About the lesson

I provide some scales for them to practice. I teach a little theory and when they are ready to do it, I teach them songs they want to learn. I do lessons online with Facebook or Zoom.

Eight year olds to adult students. I taught a sixty-five year old woman once. She was just like a kid. She loved every minute of it.

Find someone to teach you that you like. One may have to try four or five teachers before finding the right one. Practice every day. There is no such thing as a dumb question. I try to make lessons fun and challenging. Reading music is not required.

When the world opened up after the pandemic. I played my first live gig in over a year. Playing in front of people takes my performances to a new level.
