About Jillienne

Jillienne is passionate about imparting the foundational techniques and practice strategies that she has learned to help her students develop themselves technically and musically. She loves helping students master the basics so they can move past the skills into expressing their hearts through their instrument!

She travels to homes in the South Tampa area and teaches virtually on Zoom:

*Beginning/intermediate Violin & Viola

*Beginning Cello & Piano

*Contemporary & Gospel Voice

I began teaching strings to young beginners in middle school as an assistant and loved it!!

Jillienne earned her B.A. in Music Education from Palm Beach Atlantic University, performing in string quartet, concert choir and orchestra. She taught middle school orchestra and chorus, and steel drums for 3 years and has taught private lessons since high school.

About the lesson

Jillienne offers a trial lesson first to determine if she and the new student are a good fit for each other.

She looks for students who are hungry to learn and willing to invest time to practice regularly.

Students should feel encouraged and challenged to grow and develop in a safe and empowering environment.

I enjoy working with all ages, from 3 - 73+!

Primary experience: K-12

Piano: 5 - 45 year olds

Violin: 4 - 50 year olds

Voice: 9 - 25 year olds
