About Benjamin
Ever since I graduated high school in 2011, I have always had a burning passion to teach music. Some people do not understand the importance of a solid music education and how it affects a child's overall growth. Music engages all parts of the brain and provides a thorough, comprehensive education. I graduated from Bethune Cookman in 2015 with my bachelors in music education K-12. Currently, I am in my 3rd year of teaching, two of those at Glade View School of Performing Arts in Belle Glade, where I am currently. I am excited to be here and I look forward to sharing my passion for music with your child(ren)!
I have a Bachelor's in Music Education and I currently am a music teacher and band director for Palm Beach County.

When I receive a new student, the first thing I do is assess their prior musical knowledge, usually through either a performance or informal assesment. Once I know their strengths and weaknesses, I devise my plan on how I will approach teaching them.
