July 2019- Current Psychiatric Tech II New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington, NC

Provides therapeutic conversations with patients who are currently going through crisis. The Behavioral Health unit is a specialized unit within the emergency department that holds psychiatric patients until they can be transferred to mental health or substance abuse facilities. Work with and discuss findings with nursing staff, sitters, and doctors. Writes clear and concise notes. Deescalates situations when called for and maintains therapeutic milieu.



February 2019 - July 2019 Mental Health Technician​ Strategic Behavioral Center, Leland, NC

Working collaboratively with physicians, psychiatric nurses, and therapists in order to create and carry out the best care plan for each patient. Responsible for both informal and formal psycho-educational, recreational and interpersonal skills development groups. Recorded observations of patients’ behaviors and interactions, managed activities of daily living and ensured patient safety at all times.



June 2018 - March 2019 UPS Preload Supervisor​ United Postal Service: Wilmington, NC

Responsible for the daily operation of the UPS preload which includes ensuring that all mail is placed within the right vehicles within the given time frame. Responsible for all supply and maintenance for a company of 120 personnel during the academic year. I counseled and developed my supply NCO and together we ensured that the company was supplied with all the necessities for living in a clean healthy environment.



2015 ​Cadet Troop Leading Training ​ Fort Riley, KS

During this training, I was responsible for shadowing a Second Lieutenant who was the Platoon Leader for the 300th Military Police Company. For three weeks I was familiarized with the job of a Platoon Leader, Military Police Unit, accountability reports, physical fitness planning and execution, building a training calendar, interacting with subordinates and colleagues.



2015 ​ ​Cadet Leadership Development Training Camp Buckner, NY

Trained and tested in all the position of a standard Infantry Platoon. Became proficient at Platoon level tactics along with squad tactics, weapon team tactics, cursor weapons (M240B, M249), writing and executing operations orders and the elements of mission command.
