About Jason
Private lessons in TSF Kempo Karate are taught at your home or the location of your choice between 8AM and 2PM.
Training includes stand up fighting, grappling, defense against weapons and choke holds,sparring, tumbling, situational awareness, adrenal stress conditioning, and the Personal Excellence Program.
A lesson typically runs 45 minutes with the first 30 minutes focused on physical conditioning, flexibility, kicks, and handstrikes. The next 15 minutes are for new material and practice with time notes and questions.
Teaching is a required activity at Black Belt and higher for students to gain advanced levels of proficiency and understanding.
Once I began teaching I found it to be very rewarding.
I'm a 4th degree Black Belt in Shaolin Kempo Karate and I've been teaching since 2003.

When meeting with a new student in person or on Zoom we will discuss their needs and how we will address them. Together we will establish a training routine including the day and time for your lessons, and the training routine for days you are not training in person.
We will asses your previous experiences, your current fitness level, and what goals you seek to achieve.
I've trained a wide variety of students ranging in ages from 4 to 84.
Determine exactly what your needs are first; fitness, flexability, self-defense, discipline, or anything else you may want to achieve. Once your goals are clear you will be able to make a much more informed decision.
Be sure that the person you're talking to can provide what you need, and not just what they're selling.

Details
Lessons are 45 minutes, and equal to a one on one private class in a martial arts school. This includes kicking pads, focus pads, and other training equipment that I will supply for lessons.
Lessons are now $75 for the first person, with each additional person at $10 per person, per lesson, with no limit to group size.
